In this Privacy Policy, we explain what personal data Mukify collects, for what purposes the data is used, how long the data is stored and what rights you have as a user.
Mukify processes personal data for providing the service, managing user accounts, maintaining collections and wishlists, customer support, managing paid subscriptions, service development, communications and information security.
Your privacy is important to us. We process personal data carefully and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

2. What data does Mukify collect?
Mukify may collect and process, for example, the following data:
Data provided by the user and related to the user account:
- name
- email address
- user account details and settings
- language and currency settings
- marketing communication consents and opt-outs
Data stored in the service:
- items added to the collection
- items added to the wishlist
- the user’s own notes and details about items
- content published or shared by the user in the service, such as posts and comments related to community features
Data generated from the use of the service:
- login and usage data
- browsing and event data in the service
- technical information about the device, browser and operating system
- data collected through cookies and similar technologies
Data related to payments and subscriptions:
- information about an active or ended Mukify Premium subscription
- identifiers related to the subscription, invoicing and payment transactions
- information provided by the payment service provider about payment success, failure or subscription status
Mukify does not store payment card details in its own systems. Payments are processed by a payment service provider.
3. What is the data used for?
We use personal data, for example, for the following purposes:
- creating and managing user accounts
- providing Mukify features, such as collections, wishlists, value estimates and community features
- managing Mukify Premium subscriptions
- processing payments, invoicing and subscriptions
- customer support and user communications
- service development, analytics and statistics
- ensuring the security of the service and preventing misuse
- marketing communications, if the user has given consent or if the communication is otherwise permitted under applicable law
- fulfilling legal obligations
4. On what basis do we process personal data?
We process personal data on the legal bases set out in the EU General Data Protection Regulation. The processing may be based on:
- contract, when we process data to provide the Mukify service and the user account
- consent, for example in certain situations related to marketing communications or the use of cookies
- legitimate interest, for example in service development, ensuring information security, preventing misuse and managing the customer relationship
- legal obligation, for example in storing data related to accounting and payments
5. Who can process the data?
Personal data may be processed by Mukify employees and service providers acting on behalf of Mukify when this is necessary for providing, maintaining or developing the service or handling customer support.
We use external service providers, for example, for server infrastructure, data storage, analytics, email communications, customer support, payment processing and monitoring error situations.
Service providers may process personal data only in accordance with Mukify’s instructions and only to the extent required to provide the service.
6. Disclosure of data and service providers
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
We may disclose or transfer personal data to service providers who process data on behalf of Mukify. Such service providers are used, for example, for technical maintenance of the service, data storage, analytics, email communications, customer support, payment processing and marketing.
Service providers may process data only in accordance with Mukify’s instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes.
Data may also be disclosed to authorities if required by law or a binding request from an authority.
7. Payments and Mukify Premium
Mukify Premium is a paid subscription that gives the user access to unlimited collection management and other Premium features.
Mukify uses an external payment service provider for processing payments and subscriptions. The payment service provider processes data related to payments, invoicing and subscription management in accordance with its own terms and privacy practices.
Mukify does not store payment card details in its own systems. Mukify may process information such as the subscription status, successful payment, subscription end and identifiers provided by the payment service provider so that the Premium subscription can be activated, maintained or ended.
Please note that deleting a user account from Mukify does not automatically cancel a possible Mukify Premium subscription. The Premium subscription must be cancelled separately before deleting the user account.
8. Cookies and analytics
Mukify may use cookies and similar technologies to ensure the functionality of the service, maintain login sessions, improve the user experience, provide analytics and measure marketing.
Essential cookies are necessary for the service to function. The use of other cookies may be based on the user’s consent.
With analytics, we monitor, for example, service usage, the most popular features and technical issues. This information is used to develop the service and improve its quality.
9. Is my data secure?
Mukify protects personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures.
We limit access to personal data only to those persons and service providers who have a justified need to process the data for their work or for providing the service.
We aim to protect the service against unauthorised use, data loss, misuse and other information security risks. However, perfect security cannot be guaranteed in any online service.
10. How long is the data stored?
We store personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Data related to the user account, collection and wishlists is stored for as long as the user account is active or until the user deletes their account.
A registered user can delete their user account while logged in by opening “User settings” and selecting “Delete account”. Deleting the account removes the user’s data, such as the collection, wishlist and user account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone afterwards.
Please note that any active Mukify Premium subscription must be cancelled before deleting the account, as deleting the account does not cancel the Premium subscription.
Some data may be stored for longer if required by law. This may include, for example, data related to accounting, payments, investigating misuse or handling legal claims.
11. User rights
You have rights to your personal data under applicable data protection legislation. You may have the right to:
- access personal data concerning you
- request correction of inaccurate data
- request deletion of data
- request restriction of processing
- object to processing in certain situations
- request data portability, if the requirements are met
- withdraw your consent when the processing is based on consent
- lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
You can view and edit many details related to your user account directly in Mukify. You can also delete your user account in the user settings. For other privacy matters, you can contact support@mukify.com.
12. Transfers of data outside the EU or EEA
Some of the service providers we use may be located outside the EU or EEA or may process data outside these areas.
In such situations, we ensure that there is a lawful basis for the data transfer under data protection legislation, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or another applicable safeguard.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if Mukify’s operations, service features, service providers we use or applicable legislation change.
The up-to-date Privacy Policy is always available on Mukify’s website. The date of the latest update is shown at the beginning of this policy.
